April 1st- Ukulele Workshops at Aaron's woodshop.  $30 at the door. 

10:00-11:00 AM: Blue Uke- Intro to fingerpicking with Del Rey

Level: be familiar with basic chords and be able to keep time while changing them. 

Getting your thumb to keep time while your fingers play melodies and arpeggiate chords is the aim of this workshop.  We'll work with a blues tune from the repertoire of the Memphis Sheiks that sounds good played on the beat or syncopated. 

11:30-12:30PM: Jug Band Party, All Levels.

Have some fun learning some traditional jug band and acoustic blues tunes with Aaron, Matt and Del.  Expect to also learn a bit about the history and culture behind the music as we sing and pick.
